I loved the video. When I learned about what Sikhs have to go through my jaw dropped. It is just terrible. No way in any form should anyone be made fun or harassed for who they are. I love all the different races and ethnicities and don’t judge people by looks. Nor do I think that other people should. I respect you for making this documentary.

My reaction to your film was outrageous. It opened my eyes and really made me want to do as much as possible to promote diversity education with not only Sikhism but with different religions or ethnic groups. I know you are freshmen, but I think you have more bravery, courage and power than anyone at this school. You could do anything you set your mind to. I loved learning about your culture and hopefully my knowledge will grow. You should go into filmmaking.

I totally understand what you are saying. I am an African-American female that has been trying making friends with different races because I love to learn more about different cultures. Many people would ignore me, just stare and tell me that they don’t like black people.

Your film did a good job in announcing that there are problems with hate and prejudice. I know a little bit about prejudice myself. I hope you stay strong in your quest to help the world to be more accepting.

I have seen you around school and noticed you were different but never thought of it as a bad thing.
I can relate. I was a fat kid who weighed 150 pounds in the 7th grade so I was always looked as ‘the fat girl’ or the ‘pig’ and I was very secluded…What would America be without people who are different? In public schools kids should be free to display their ‘diversity’. I am a Christian and wear a ring with a cross on it. It represents my faith in God.

Blending into the melting pot is good, but keeping your background is amazing. It is a part of who you are.

It is possible to be a great American and hold onto your culture because America offers freedom to be different.

Wearing your religious signs do not hurt anybody. It’s not like by wearing a bracelet with a cross that I’m trying to make my Jewish friends Christian . We should be proud of our religions.

I agree that we need more diversity education in this world. When I first saw you I did not know what was on your head or what religion you were. So I’m glad you opened up and are taking a stand in this world to eliminate ignorance and prejudice.

Angad, you are very brave for doing this. You have the goal of changing the way people look at you without changing your appearance. I think it would be good to have diversity education to know more about different cultures.

I think we need to learn more about diversity in our country so that people stop acting like idiots towards people who look different. I think it is really cool that you stand up for your beliefs and don’t allow others to affect them.

I loved your video. The people on there said things that I feel the same way about. I just didn’t know how to put it in words. I am glad that you all are here. I have seen you for the last few years and now I am glad to know about you and Sikhism. I would love to know more.

I was sad to know that many Sikhs cuts their hair just to fit in. I never thought anything of it before but now I see that is really a big deal. Your movie opened my eyes. Thank You.
I personally love learning about different cultures and religions, and I’d like every one else to feel the same way. Although we Americans are progressing, individual attitude need to be more open and diversity education is the way to do that. I commend you for trying to make that change.

I know that sometimes being different makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable, when really you’re just an interesting person with lots of stories to tell. Thanks for telling us your story. We needed to hear it.

I enjoyed your film. It was very informative. I think that students should be exposed to diversity education at an early age so they don’t grow up with hatred.

You are a really good filmmaker. If we had more diversity ed. classes like this it would make more and more people realize that we can all come together to make peace. That is what America is.

Angad, your film was moving. Before, when I saw someone with a turban, I would think of the Middle East. But now, after your film I see people with turbans as Americans. I see them liking the same music and doing the same things I do. I think if we learn about each other and we will find that we are all the same people.

One should be free to able to dress according to their believes. I am a very strong Christian. I wear crosses; I go to church 4 times a week. If I was discouraged to show how I felt, I would be angry and fix the problem.
